Quak

for coworking spaces

Lunch is served. On every floor.

Members come and go, the music is on anyway. Quak makes the Sonos your community manager's microphone: community lunch, the meeting room that just got free, the last call before the door locks.

Phone booths and meeting rooms stay quiet. You pick which speakers play what.

how it works

Set up before the lunch rush.

  1. 1

    Connect your Sonos

Log in with the Sonos account of the space. Every speaker on every floor shows up.

  2. 2

    Group the floors

Kitchen, open space and event area together. Phone booths and meeting rooms stay out, so calls stay quiet.

  3. 3

Hand it to the front desk

Everyone at the desk gets their own login. Schedules and your booking tool do the rest.

Questions you might have

Will it disturb people in calls?

Leave the phone booths and meeting rooms out of the groups, they stay quiet. Quiet hours do the same for the evening.

Does the music stop?

It gets quieter while the announcement plays and comes back afterwards. Nobody has to press play again.

Can our booking software announce?

Yes, with an API key: one POST with the text and the speakers. The docs show how. Docs
